Eddie Brill, a veteran comedian, was recently profiled in The New York Times. But the article did more than provide some publicity for him and his employer, David Letterman. Brill seems to have been let go from his responsibilities of booking the stand up acts for the Late Show with David Letterman for “speaking to the press without authorization.”
